Privacy & Cookies
How we use personal information and cookies on this website
Who we are
This website is run by Gilbert Inglefield Lodge No. 8009, a lodge of Freemasons meeting at The Keep, Bedford Road, Kempston, Bedford MK42 8AH, under the Provincial Grand Lodge of Bedfordshire and the United Grand Lodge of England. You can reach us through our Contact page.
Information you send us
When you use our enquiry form we receive your name, email address, phone number, the subject of your enquiry and anything you choose to tell us. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to arrange to meet you. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
The form is processed by our website host, Netlify, which passes your enquiry to the Lodge. We do not share your details with anyone outside the Lodge. If you do not go on to join or visit, we delete your details once your enquiry is closed.
Members and photographs
We may publish the names of Lodge officers and Past Masters, and photographs taken at Lodge events, such as group photographs after a meeting has closed. We tell people when a photograph is taken that it may appear on this website. We do not publish personal details or photographs of children. If you would like your name or a photograph of you removed, contact us and we will take it down.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts and images are served from this site, so simply visiting a page does not send information to anyone else.
Two features are provided by Google and load only if you choose to open them:
- the map on our Meetings page, from Google Maps
- the Discover Freemasonry film on our Joining page, from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode)
Google may set its own cookies once you open either of them (see the Google privacy policy). If you would rather it did not, use the links to open them on Google’s own sites instead, or do not open them.
Links to other websites
This website links to other sites, including the Province of Bedfordshire and the United Grand Lodge of England. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Please use our Contact page. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
